How to reset and have it return to green? The sensor may be blocked by dust or hair, please try to vacuum and wipe inside add outside of air purifier and sensor. If it still can't be solved, please do not hesitate to let us know and we can assist you further. After replacing filter, the red light is still on...Is it working? How to RESET it? The red light reminds you that it's time for a new filter. But it doesn't mean that the air purifier is not working properly. It's not super conspicuous on any of the product pages, but there are model differences. There's the G200, and the G200S. There may be more. The first two purifiers I bought (bundle) were G200S models. I only found that out when I received the third one I ordered a few weeks later. The last one I received (the G200) didn't have the automatic setting. (Four buttons on the top touch screen, instead of five). I didn't mind not having the automatic setting, so I decided to keep it.This is where the other small, noticeable differences kicked in. The biggest plus side for the regular G200: one of the buttons is to turn off the annoying nightlight / LED. It's nice that the LED changes color to indicate the sensed particle level, but that trick got old fairly quickly with the G200S. I just wanted them to do their jobs in the corner, and shut up, and not be seen. Not really an option for the G200S when left on "automatic" mode.The biggest downside to the regular 200 is that even while powered off, it was still on, and able to be heard (fan spinning at very low speed). The only way I found to completely turn it off was to unplug it. So, back it goes. I'm going to upgrade it to the G200S and deal with the annoying LED that can't be turned off in "automatic" mode.Other than that, I like these things. They work well. I had them placed, and had forgotten about them on the day I was making a drywall repair. A little bit of sanding, and a little time later, they began ramping up to filter the sensed particles from across the room. I'm so glad that Medify jacked their prices up on the 40 so high that I went searching for an alternative. I got four of these for the price of two Medify-40s. Plus, there are no reviews about it burning, or the sensor not working, or them removing the sensor and charging more for the removed sensor.I really love that the air is dispersed out of the top, instead of the side. I didn't realize that I would like this as much as I do. Also, a fresh bag of potpourri, a box of baking soda, or just about any other type of dry, contained freshener fits nicely inside of the filter so that the purified air is scented to one's desire. I can't see how that can be done with the flat filtered types of purifiers; at least not easily.Too bad the G200S doesn't come with a button to turn off the LED. Maybe in the future. If I could give it 4.75 stars for that annoyance, I would. 5 stars will have to do.
