Features: Material: made of a durable plastic Connection Type: Push-to-connect, allowing for quick and easy installation without the need for tools.Color: Black, which can provide some UV and heat resistance. Uses: Pneumatic Systems: Widely used in various pneumatic systems, including industrial automation, factory automation, and general compressed air applications.Connecting Air Lines: Connects different sections of air lines within a pneumatic system, allowing for the distribution or branching of airflow.Industrial Automation: Used in connecting pneumatic components like valves, cylinders, and actuators in automated machinery.Robotics: Employed in robotics to connect pneumatic lines that power robotic arms and other movements.Factory Automation: Utilized in factory automation systems for controlling processes and machinery. Benefits: Ease of Installation: Push-to-connect design allows for quick and easy installation without the need for tools, saving time and labor costs.Reliable Connections: Creates a secure and leak-free connection, ensuring efficient operation of the pneumatic system.Reusability: Can be easily disconnected and reconnected multiple times.Lightweight: Plastic fittings are generally lightweight, which can be beneficial in certain applications.Corrosion Resistance: Many plastics are resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for use in humid or corrosive environments.Cost-Effective: Plastic fittings are often more cost-effective than metal fittings. Working Pressure and Temperature: Working Pressure: The working pressure of plastic fittings varies depending on the specific material and manufacturer specifications. Typical working pressures for plastic fittings range from around 100 to 200 PSI (6.9 to 13.8 bar).Working Temperature: The operating temperature range also varies depending on the plastic material. Most plastic fittings are suitable for use in moderate temperature ranges, typically between -40°C to +80°C.

Well made unions; seem to be of nylon composite and in a very small form factor. I purchased due to the price against Parker/Legris. They are rated less @ 120psi but as I was using for an RO water system (~90psi) so that wasn't an issue. No leaks and worked great the first time. I would buy again.Note: If you are new to PTC type fittings it is inperative to use a proper tubing cutter on the lines. These types of fittings require a square, non-deformed cut to seal correctly and to not leak. If you use pliers, cutters or shears you are going to have a problem.
